About the classes
Millstone will be holding 3 HANDS-ON Cooking Classes for 12 individuals throughout the months of May and June.
Alice will be focusing on teaching the art of simple TARTS. We will be using sweet shortcrust pastry, puff pastry and a variety of different fillings and methods. Among others, recipes include a ‘Rhubarb and hazelnut galette’, ‘Pear Tarte Tatin’ and a ‘Chocolate almond and quince tart’.
How to – Fresh Pasta and Ricotta Gnocchi After this class, you will never buy your pasta or gnocchi again. Recipes include our ricotta spinach gnocchi with a brown butter and walnut sauce, a beef short rib raghu fettuccine and a clam, garlic and fennel spaghetti.
The Millstone Dinner Party
Alice will guide you through mastering the perfect dinner party. You will be involved in cooking the entire dinner; an entrée, a main and a dessert that you can whip out at your next dinner function! Recipes include ‘Seared scallops with a cauliflower puree and prosciutto crumb’, ‘Beef eye fillet cooked on rock salt with béarnaise sauce’ and a ‘rhubarb crème brulee’.
Classes will begin at 5.30pm and run for 2.5 hours, and include a glass of wine and a grazing cheese platter. Additional wine may also be purchased on the night.
